Accounting Analysts understand the underlying contracts associated with MEDITECH’s MaaS, IaaS, and product content offerings, as well as the internal-use cloud infrastructure, in order to track change orders and analyze, forecast, and process invoices. This position requires that the Analyst become a subject matter expert in using the reporting tools available and understand the configurations and components of MEDITECH’s MaaS and IaaS offerings. The Analyst will work closely with the Cloud Services, Business Development, and Information Technology teams to fully understand their endeavors.
As a member of the General and Administrative team, your job would involve:
- Adhering to cloud service and 3rd party content vendor contract details in order to calculate, confirm, and send accurate payments
- Reviewing contract terms and new orders with cloud service and content vendors
- Actively participating in quarterly forecast meetings
- Updating blanket POs or created requisitions appropriately
- Entering invoice batches
- Tracking and processing invoices for annual subscription expirations and renewals
- Forecasting and monitoring expenses on a weekly basis
- Maintaining contract renewals and changes
- Filing open purchase orders and paid invoices
- Processing check requests and other miscellaneous payments
- Ensuring all AP processes are in accordance with MEDITECH’s Internal Controls.
- Bachelor's or associate degree with coursework in accounting preferred and/or 2-3 years of applicable work or military experience
- Experience in Accounts Payable/knowledge of accounting cycle
- Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and spreadsheet functions
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to set goals and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of management
- Ability to take the initiative to complete projects with minimal supervision.
Hiring salary range: $60,000- $72,000 per year.
Actual salary will be determined based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
