Job Summary

Plans and manages the strategic and tactical marketing activities for the North American Hospital Resuscitation Market within ZOLL. Works closely with: sales leadership; field sales and clinical teams; the marketing communications team (graphics, web, trade shows, PR; etc.); and other key functional areas.

Essential Functions
  • Develop and execute positioning and market strategy
  • Serve as product and market expert as it relates to current and future Hospital Resuscitation products for both ZOLL and the competition.
  • Execute product launches, including development of all collateral materials.
  • Collect, analyze, and maintain competitive intelligence - including product literature and pricing - and communicate information as appropriate within the organization.
  • Provide sales force with competitive, market, product, and technical data on a timely basis.
  • Participate in customer visits and sales training as the resident product and market expert.
  • Provide US field sales support and communicates with other customer-facing departments, specifically customer service, tech support, contracts, and sales development.
  • Take customer satisfaction as a personal goal to ensure ZOLL customers and field sales and clinical teams receive the highest level of support from marketing.
  • Manage expenses effectively and to budget.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or technical discipline; required and
  • MBA preferred
  • 8-10 years medical device marketing experience. required and
  • Experience/background in resuscitation, cardiology, and/or cath lab preferred and
  • Experience in capital devices is a plus. preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Successful track record introducing new medical devices into the US market.
  • Demonstrated ability to take complex information and make it useful to customers and sales teams.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communications skills including strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Strong results orientation.

Travel Requirements
  • 20-30% travel required

The annual salary for this position is:

$130,000.00 to $180,000.00

This position is eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the company's bonus plan. Factors which may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
