The Cardiac Management Solutions division of ZOLL Medical Corporation develops products to protect and manage cardiac patients, including the LifeVest® wearable cardioverter defibrillator (WCD), the ZOLL cardiac monitor, and associated technologies.

Job Description:

Serve as the leading medical/scientific expert on clinical applicability as well as, at times, market access nuance of medical device. Serve as a clinical expert to help educate field teams in coordination with field sales and marketing materials. Represent the Clinical Education Director team with all internal stakeholders to align strategic plans across the organization. Identify medical information needs and research interests of stakeholders. Serve as the primary resource to provide support for addressing field clinical questions. Assist the team in triage to Medical Affairs organization. Consistently maintain a territory strategy plan in targeted accounts, sharing pre-call plans with leadership. Work collaboratively with Institutional Account Directors, Fellows Managers, National Accounts, and Territory Managers to deliver relevant data about sudden cardiac arrest risk. Positively impact patient care and outcomes. Build health care provider partnerships and conduct ongoing dialogue with physicians and other stakeholders to understand health care provider perspectives including challenges when treating patients with debilitating cardiac conditions that may predispose them to arrhythmic death. Integrate scientific data into real life practice to meet physician/patient needs. Support the medical/scientific roll-out of new medical devices In cardiology domain. Position is fixed location based in Pittsburgh office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed. Travel expected up to 75% of the time to meet with clients and field teams

Job Requirements:

Requires a doctoral degree (or foreign equivalent) of M.D., PharmD, or Ph. D in Genetics, Cancer Biology, Medicine, Cardiovascular science or a directly related field plus five (5) years of experience with pharmaceutical devices and associated clinical experience. Experience must include:

Four (4) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

  • Distilling nuanced clinical and health economics evidence

Two (2) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

  • Industry experience in the cardiovascular domain

One ( 1) year of experience in the following ( experience may be gained concurrently):

  • Patient care management experience or related practical experiences
  • US based clinical projects either in the form of study design development overall strategy or data

analysis interpretation.

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm
