Job Summary
The Senior Manager will lead the service commercial teams including service program, contracts, pricing, administration, and inside sales team. This role is responsible for developing revenue opportunities for Service.

Essential Functions

  • Manage the Inside Sales Representatives to increase service revenue through service contracts

  • Work with service marketing and team to create new opportunities for revenue growth

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies according to Service department goals and objectives to accelerate Service revenue growth

  • Prospect for new service contract revenue by understanding customers’ needs for new service programs and building relationships

  • Collaborate with Service marketing, sales, customer service etc. to develops new and innovative programs to increase revenue and profitability for existing and new markets for Service

  • Monitor performance of Service revenue activities using key metrics for forecasting revenue, budget/expenditure planning and margin analysis

  • Work with Inside Sales Supervisor and Inside Sales team to execute Service programs and grow revenue

  • Provide mentoring, assist in career development, coordinate training, and create and deliver performance reviews

  • Monitor team and employee productivity and provide direction, coaching and constructive feedback

  • Assumes additional responsibilities as necessary


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • 5 to 7 Years Commercial Business Development and Inside Sales and Marketing required

  • Inside Sales and Marketing experience required

  • Insurance business development background preferred


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proven track record in creating revenue through new market growth; developing effective client relationships; and providing pursuit leadership

  • Strong understanding of service warranty and/or insurance contracts

  • In-depth knowledge of market research methods and analysis

  • Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities, coupled with strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service and cultivating long-term relationships.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage individuals, develop strong teams and support new ideas

  • Proven ability to motivate team, achieve goals, and increase revenue

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain metrics

  • Excellent written and communication skills and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Proficiency with computer software applications; Oracle Service, SalesForce.com, Excel and Access
