Position Overview
The Director of Product Marketing for the LRUS portfolio will lead the product marketing strategy and execution across a diverse suite of offerings, including VitalLaw Expert AI, the Legal Markets US portfolio, Kluwer Law International , ftwilliam.com, Legisway, and MediRegs. This role is accountable for defining positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategy in close partnership with product leadership.
Sitting at the intersection of product, marketing and sales this role ensures that product value is clearly articulated, differentiated and successfully adopted in the market. The director translates complex product capabilities into compelling customer value, enabling marketing, sales and cross functional teams to consistently tell a persuasive and cohesive story.
This senior leadership role reports to the Vice President of Marketing and serves as a key bridge between Product and Marketing, translating strategic vision into actionable plans that drive growth, market adoption, and competitive differentiation across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and own the end-to-end product marketing strategy for the LRUS portfolio, aligning business objectives with market opportunities and customer needs. This includes regularly presenting portfolio strategy to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
Commercialization Excellence: Work with Product leaders to design, implement, and optimize commercialization frameworks and go-to-market plans to maximize product success from launch through lifecycle
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the connective tissue between Product Management and Sales Leadership and the marketing team and other key stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and seamless execution including development of thought leadership and awareness across the portfolio
Market Messaging & Positioning: Influence and serve as a key stakeholder across strategic market research initiative that will influence revenue growth across the portfolio. Infuse competitive analysis and customer insights into go to market plans and partner with Business Intelligence to enhance customer segmentation to inform product positioning, messaging, and differentiation.
Capability Optimization: Evaluate, optimize and evolve new product marketing capabilities, tools, and processes that enable best-in-class commercialization across the portfolio.
Performance Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives and inform continuous improvement.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing product marketing team of 3-5 individuals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required; Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred. MBA or related advanced degree a plus.
10+ years of progressive experience in commercial product management or product marketing, with a proven track record of successfully commercializing complex B2B products or solutions
Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and driving cross-functional initiatives.
Deep understanding of product management principles and the full commercialization lifecycle.
Strategic thinker with the ability to synthesize market data, customer insights, and business goals into impactful plans.
Exceptional collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience within the legal, compliance, or regulatory technology sectors is a strong plus.

Hybrid Work Model
This individual will work according to the Wolters Kluwer Hybrid Work Model, requiring a minimum of eight days a month in the office, at one of our LRUS offices.

Compensation:
$137,900.00 - $246,350.00 USDThis role is eligible for Bonus.
Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
