Agile Release Train Engineer (RTE)

Wolters Kluwer is seeking a talented RTE to join our team focused on developing industry-leading accounting systems.

As an RTE, you'll play a pivotal role in facilitating the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) within an Agile Release Train (ART) focused on Wolters Kluwer's accounting software. Think of yourself as a conductor for multiple Agile teams, working together to ensure alignment, prioritization, and the delivery of valuable new features for our accounting solutions.

Role:

  • Facilitation and Orchestration: You'll be the central point of contact for the ART, leading PI (Program Increment) planning sessions, coordinating cross-team dependencies, and ensuring smooth execution throughout the development lifecycle of Wolters Kluwer's accounting systems.

  • Coaching and Mentorship: You'll foster a collaborative environment by coaching Agile team members and Scrum Masters on SAFe principles and best practices.

  • Problem-Solving and Risk Management: Roadblocks are inevitable. You'll identify and remove impediments that hinder progress, proactively manage risks, and keep the ART on track to deliver on time and within budget.

  • Metrics and Continuous Improvement: Data is key! You'll be responsible for gathering and analyzing metrics to measure ART performance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, information technology, or business administration, is typically preferred.

  • Experience as a Scrum Master or Agile project manager.

  • A strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, particularly SAFe.

  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills to lead discussions and inspire collaboration across teams.

  • Problem-solving skills to identify and address roadblocks effectively.

  • Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable insights.

  • Passion for continuous improvement and a desire to help teams reach their full potential.

  • Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe 4) is a plus

  • Understanding of accounting systems and the accounting domain is a plus
