As a Senior Field Sales Executive for Wolters Kluwer Enablon, you will be responsible for generating revenue within an organizational unit by closing national account sales, which are named accounts critical to the company in terms of market share growth and other business goals. You will generate new business opportunities and promote products/services directly to end users primarily via face-to-face contact. You will manage complex, global or high-profile sales accounts; develop a territory business plan/strategy and collaborate with colleagues on various sales approaches and strategy. Additionally, you will manage resources and may serve as team lead for a small team. You will report to the Associate Director – Sales, Corporate Performance & ESG – Enablon.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning
  • Analyze current target market and develop a sales plan based upon market data to achieve revenue targets
  • Qualify and close prospective new/existing customers by developing an understanding of customer business needs and risk and compliance challenges; leverage knowledge of software and integrated solutions to identify sales opportunities
  • Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the product; develop, present and sell a value proposition
  • Negotiate product/service terms based on discretion in line with department policies and guidelines
  • Manage complex or high-profile territories and/or accounts
  • Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the customers’ senior management to understand their needs and link them to the organization's product/service strategies
  • Effectively represent Wolters Kluwer within the industry and at trade shows/conferences as required by developing and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of products, industry trends, and general business and financial acumen through various sources and initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4 -yr college or university; Or if no degree, equivalent years of relevant work experience

Minimum Experience:

  • 7+ years’ experience in a comparable B2B Field Sales or Account Management role
  • Extensive experience in building effective, long-term relationships and demonstrated success in closing deals/agreements with major, Enterprise clients
  • Software/SaaS sales or other relevant work experience in EHS&S, Operational Risk Management or GRC
  • Deep understanding of business, financials, products/services and the market
  • Experience with territory/account planning and monitoring resources accordingly

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience selling into the Oil & Gas, Mining or Utilities verticals
  • Recognized as an expert in one or more areas with an external reputation within industry

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

  • Experience using Salesforce.com or other comparable CRM application
  • Advanced aptitude for selling and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and possesses excellent organization, planning and presentation skills
  • Collaborative disposition and ability to work in a team-oriented environment

TRAVEL

  • Up to 50% annually
  • Ability to travel by air independently and overnight

Compensation:

Target salary range CA, CT, CO, NY, WA: $114,100-$159,900


This role is eligible for Commission.
