Main Responsibilities
This senior role will contribute to the delivery of high-quality HEOR evidence and tools to support the early Neurology pipeline, working under the guidance of the Global HEVA Neurology Team Lead. They will be responsible for delivering a robust HEVA evidence strategy for all assets under development for Alzheimer’s, wet and dry AMD, and other neurodegenerative conditions. They also will input into the disease area strategies for Neurology. As a senior member of the team, they will assist the Neurology Team Lead in mentoring more junior members of the Global HEVA team.

Strategic Business Impact
Drive measurable business impact through HEVA tactics that directly support commercial objectives and market access goals compliantly and efficiently
Develop and execute comprehensive global HEVA strategies for the early neurology portfolio
Partner with commercial teams to translate HEVA insights into actionable business strategies

Leadership and Team Management
Support the team lead in mentoring and developing team members to build world-class HEVA capabilities within the organization
Lead and participate in department wide, above therapeutic area initiatives to with a growth and continuous improvement mindset

Internal Partnerships and Senior Management Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with the cross functional teams to ensure pricing and access decisions are aligned with the demonstratable value of assets for the early pipeline
Align closely with the US HEVA team to ensure inclusion of US insights into global strategic plans
Deliver compelling presentations to senior leadership
Communicate complex health economics concepts and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders with clarity and impact
Influence key business decisions through data-driven insights and strategic HEVA recommendations
Ensure clinical development plans are designed to deliver true differentiation aligned to Sanofi Neurology Vision

Health Economics Research and Evidence Generation
Oversee the design, execution, and publication of high-quality health economics and outcomes research studies to ensure the highest quality of evidence is delivered to support business objectives
Develop comprehensive real-world evidence strategies that support product lifecycle management
Ensure scientific rigor and regulatory compliance across all tactics
Support the identification of areas of focus for the early pipeline to set Sanofi up for future success. Keep updated all epidemiology for areas of interest to support accurate assessment of opportunity
Execute all HEVA tactics at the highest level of quality to compliantly further HEOR evidence dissemination, application, and proactive and/or promotional use

Stakeholder Engagement and External Partnerships
Build and maintain strategic relationships with key external stakeholders, including payers, health technology assessment bodies, and academic institutions
Represent Sanofi at major scientific conferences and industry forums
Collaborate with external research partners and key opinion leaders to advance HEVA science
Engage with regulatory agencies and health authorities on health economics and outcomes research matters
About You
This is a senior leadership position requiring exceptional capabilities and a proven track record of delivering transformational business impact through strategic HEVA excellence. The successful candidate will play a critical role in advancing Sanofi's Immunology franchise and driving sustainable competitive advantage through world-class health economics and value assessment capabilities.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in health economics, outcomes research, or a related field
Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) in health economics, epidemiology, public health, economics, or related field required
Advanced proficiency in health economic modeling, real-world evidence generation, evidence synthesis, and outcomes research methodologies
Proven ability to manage high-complexity assets and therapeutic areas that require unique and innovative evidence generation
Deep understanding of global health technology assessment processes and payer decision-making frameworks
Expert knowledge of regulatory guidance on RWE (FDA, EMA) and promotional guidance differences between US and rest of world
Proven track record of successful market access and reimbursement support through HEVA evidence and ability to influence decision-making of senior cross functional team members using HEVA developed insights and evidence
Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively across senior levels and functions
Experience in Neurology required
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations
Good project management skills with ability to manage timelines and deliverables while staying on budget
Demonstrated proficiency in AI and digital tools for health economics research, including experience with AI-powered analytics platforms, machine learning applications for evidence synthesis, and digital data management systems; proven ability to leverage emerging technologies (such as generative AI tools and automated data analysis) to enhance research efficiency and drive innovation in HEOR evidence generation

The salary range for this position is:
