The TA Head for Patient-Driven Outcomes Research is responsible for a team of Clinical Outcomes Leads and Scientists, from junior to senior levels, for a set of assigned disease areas.

Main Responsibilities:
In this leadership position, they are responsible to:
Provide management, optimized resourcing, direction and ongoing evolution of an international team of COA Scientists/ Leads/ Sr Leads
Deliver COA endpoint strategies addressing differentiated value recognition across patients, HCPs, payers and regulators
Develop methodological excellence, quality of deliverables and compliance to best COA research standards.
Foster innovation, education of internal stakeholders, and internal visibility of COA team
Drive thought leadership across industry stakeholders for the ongoing evolution of COA sciences; Promote Sanofi’s reputation as leader in patient-centered medicines development via scientific publications, participation in pre-competitive initiatives, and external forums
Ensure each disease has an implementation strategy that reflects reduced burden on patients, sites and internal team members
Drive ongoing digitization and integration of RWE modeling to redefine how COA are identified and integrated across the life cycle of clinical trials.
Accountable for maintaining cross functional leadership connectivity within PDMD and beyond; Promote and facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal biostats, translational medicine leadership, clinical research directors, global project heads and Health Economics and Value Assessment team members, global regulatory affairs, medical affairs...
Ensure their COA Leads are working proactively with PAGs and patients to deliver co-created strategies and evidence.
Define a COA publication strategy that demonstrates Sanofi’s patient driven outcomes strategies and methodologies are shaping drug development.
Responsible for ongoing alignment of processes, objectives and improved ways of working for all aspects linked to patient/ caregiver generated data (eg, across health value translation as it relates to developing and delivering on the patient disease strategy, CSO for ePRO and digital health tech/ digital biomarkers; clinical sub teams for early alignment on differentiated COA strategy, etc)
About You
Qualifications & Experience:
Advanced degree required in a relevant discipline related to health economics, health value, evidence generation or related field of study.
Minimum 12 years of industry experience required with demonstrated expertise in patient centered outcomes sciences within a pharma/ biotech organization
Demonstrated leadership with external consortia related to patient centered outcomes sciences (eg, PCORI, C-Path, ISPOR)
People management experience leading COA-related teams either in the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO/Consultancy
Experience of drug development lifecycle research (including qualitative and quantitative data sources and application of real-world evidence (RWE) research)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral; ability to understand and communicate with representatives from the range of disciplines
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, and balance workload and timelines; Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Travel up to 30% domestic & international

The salary range for this position is:
$232,500.00 - $335,833.33All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
