Position Summary:

The Global Brand Lead will lead the development and implementation of the global strategy for a new pipeline asset in GI and Lung cancers and potential future indications.

The position will be based in Cambridge, MA or Morristown, NJ and will report to the Global Franchise Head, Oncology.

Main Responsibilities:

Pipeline and Life Cycle Management

  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Medical Affairs, Clinical Program Management and the new pipeline asset Global teams to lead Life Cycle Strategy aligned with our leadership ambition

  • Ensure the new pipeline asset is launch ready for all GI and Lung indications and combinations

  • Represent global commercial perspective in LCM and R&D clinical development programs at the GPT

  • Identify development opportunities to drive commercial strategy, conduct commercial assessments and support the development of business cases for potential development investments

Strategy and Promotional Platform

  • Gain insights from the Top 10 markets and from external stakeholders in order to develop the ambition and the overall value proposition for the new pipeline asset (short, mid, and long term) as well as required resources

  • Identify and communicate market drivers & barriers, and best practices

  • Develop the new pipeline asset brand plan and strategy ensuring alignment across key markets

Commercial Strategy Implementation

  • Is accountable for the execution of the defined strategy across countries

  • Set ambitious targets and ensure excellence in execution to exceed in-market and financial expectations for the new pipeline asset in partnership with country teams

  • Build internal and external awareness and impact

  • Contribute to the global Key opinion leader strategy led by medical affairs

  • Engage with external stakeholders on behalf of Sanofi and the new pipeline asset in the GI and Lung portfolio

  • Contribute to the new pipeline asset strategic presence in global oncology congresses

About You

Experience Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in life sciences, marketing or business is required. MBA or advanced degree is preferred

  • A minimum of 12-15 years' experience in commercial leadership positions globally and locally in sales, marketing, market access is required.

  • Strong Oncology expertise (solid tumor, GI or Lung), US experience and several previous launches in Oncology are a must

  • Strong strategic thinking skills and curiosity are required

  • Strong collaboration, conceptual and innovation skills required

  • Previous experience in collaborating cross-functional groups, made up of the following: Marketing, Sales, R&D, Medical Affairs, Market Research, Finance, Forecasting, etc.

  • Experience leading without authority in a matrix environment

  • Strong project management expertise

  • Readiness to travel (up to 40% of time domestic and international)

The salary range for this position is:

$266,250.00 - $384,583.33
