The franchise has a diverse and fast-growing product portfolio, including industry-leading products in hemophilia, the first and only approved product (Cablivi) in aTTP and with the launch of Wayrilz in Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP), expanding rapidly to other under-served hematologic disorders.
The US ITP Marketing Lead is a newly created leadership role responsible for building on the early launch success of Wayrilz in ITP (the first of Sanofi’s Big 12 assets) by driving commercial strategy and execution and shaping the long-term disease strategy. This individual will lead a team of talented marketers focused on impactful engagement across HCP and patient audiences for ITP.
The role with work in close partnership with Global counterparts and across US functions, including but not limited to, Access Strategy, Sales, Medical, Patient Support Services and Insights and Analytics to ensure plans align with US business priorities, the strategic direction for Wayrilz, and overall ITP market dynamics.
This role requires strong executive presence, strategic judgment, and demonstrated ability to lead in a complex, highly matrixed environment.
This role reports to the Head of Hematology Marketing, within the US Rare Blood Disorders franchise.

Marketing Leadership
Design and execute a best-in-class approach to the crowded ITP market and ensure differentiation of Wayrilz amongst established players and future entrants.
Achieve and exceed forecast and revenue targets. Design and execute innovative approaches that drive Wayrilz growth in ITP. Create, communicate & execute competitive and integrated US marketing plans, enhancing Wayrilz as a treatment choice, while being proactive about patient access and retention.
Build productive and open relationships with KOLs, patient organizations and payers while identifying customer needs and solutions. Leverage advanced analytics, market research, and AI-enabled tools to inform strategic decision-making and optimize commercial performance.
Lead development and execution of comprehensive ITP brand plans, translating deep market insights into clear “where to play” and “how to win” in close collaboration with the cross-functional matrix as well as competitive intelligence and market research colleagues to inform strategic choices and forecasts.
Lead commercial planning, short- term revenue and operational expense forecasts, resulting into Budget and Strat. Plan presentations.
Monitor business results against stated objectives and initiate corrective actions when needed. Make forward thinking investment decisions.
Qualifications:
MBA or science-related degree.
Experienced (8+ years) commercial marketing leader with a proven track record of success in the commercialization of medicines in complex matrixed environments. Ability to develop and coach a high-performance team focused on accountability and exceeding expectations. Field experience is not necessary but highly welcome.
Prior experience in competitive markets such as hematology, oncology, or immunology required; Other large market experience is also welcome.
We are living in an increasingly AI-first world, which is translating into how HCPs and patients consume information. Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and advanced analytics to inform commercial execution and delivering outstanding customer experiences is highly desired.
Experience developing and executing large-scale media promotional strategies within a regulated healthcare environment is highly desired.
Strong business acumen, including experience with forecasting, budgeting, analytics, and commercial planning.
Excellent communication, presentation, and strategic storytelling skills.
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams across Marketing, Medical, Market Access, and Sales.

The salary range for this position is:
