As Senior Product Manager, within the Rare Hematology team, you’ll support key elements of the U.S. consumer marketing strategy and execution for WAYRILZ, the first BTK inhibitor for Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP), FDA approved in August 2025. This role will serve as a key bridge between strategic planning and tactical execution – with a focus on omnichannel campaign delivery, digital marketing optimization and patient engagement initiatives.
This is an opportunity for an emerging marketer to deepen cross-functional collaboration, develop digital fluency, and make meaningful contributions to a high-impact, priority launch asset for the U.S. Rare Blood Disorders Franchise and Sanofi Specialty Care. This role reports to the Director of Consumer Marketing, Rare Hematology and will be based in Cambridge, MA.

Main Responsibilities:
Strategic Contribution & Campaign Execution
Contribute to the U.S. commercial strategy for WAYRILZ by supporting patient marketing efforts as part of the consumer marketing team, working alongside the Director and Associate Director, and in partnership with the broader Rare Hematology marketing team
Lead day-to-day execution of omnichannel patient campaigns across digital and traditional channels, including website content, email marketing, social media, and print materials - from content creation through legal/regulatory approval, field training, and launch
Monitor campaign performance, market research insights, and patient feedback to identify optimization opportunities and inform future consumer marketing strategies
Patient Ambassador Program & Engagement
Serve as the primary owner of the ITP patient ambassador program, managing end-to-end logistics in partnership with our patient ambassador logistics agency, including ambassador recruitment, training, scheduling, event coordination, and ongoing engagement
Partner closely with legal, regulatory and compliance teams to ensure all ambassador activities adhere to FDA guidelines, PhRMA Code, and company policies
Develop compelling patient storytelling content (testimonials, videos, social media, case studies) that educates, empowers, and builds trust with the ITP community while maintaining full regulatory compliance
Cross-Functional Partnership & Agency Management
Build strong collaborative relationships across patient support services, advocacy, digital, GTMC, market research and field teams to ensure alignment with WAYRILZ patient strategy and uncover actionable insights
Work closely with agency partners to manage project timelines, deliverables, budgets, and quality standards—ensuring work stays on strategy, on time, and within budget
Coordinate cross-functional review processes (MLR) and manage day-to-day operational logistics for print fulfillment, patient events, and field enablement materials
About You
Required Qualifications:
4–6 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical marketing, digital strategy, consumer healthcare, or agency account management
Strong understanding of omnichannel marketing and digital patient engagement tactics (web, CRM/email, social media, paid media, etc.)
Experience working in regulated industries with demonstrated knowledge of legal/regulatory review processes and promotional compliance requirements
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail, prioritization skills, and accountability for results
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
Self-starter who can work independently to develop clear action plans, manage timelines, set objectives, and oversee budgets
Willingness to travel approximately 15–20%
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing patient or brand ambassador programs, including logistics, compliance oversight, and content development
Background in rare disease, specialty care, or launch marketing
Familiarity with pharmaceutical digital platforms (e.g., Veeva Vault PromoMats, iCare, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar)
Event planning and coordination experience
Demonstrated patient-centric mindset and comfort working directly with patient communities in a compliant, empathetic manner
Growth mindset with eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, high-visibility launch environment

The salary range for this position is:
