As part of Sanofi's broader mission to bring miracles of science to life, our Rare Diseases team works collaboratively across Medical, Commercial, Market Access, and R&D to achieve better care for rare disease patients globally.
Global Patient Activation team will drive FIND activities across the portfolio with the objective to improve diagnosis and access to treatment for patients.

Main responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of global patient activation strategy for the Rare Diseases portfolio, leading implementation of new care pathway optimization model across brands.
Design and implement engagement programs that accelerate diagnosis, reduce diagnostic delays, and improve the patient journey from symptom onset through treatment
Drive Global execution by building and leading SPAN4Rare – a new governance model designed to adapt global patient activation strategies to meet local market needs, cultural contexts, and healthcare systems, define priorities and ensure seamless execution and communication
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of patient activation initiatives, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize programs
Advance and lead breakthrough programs such as Prospective AI – our ambition to build AI driven clinical decision support systems solutions embedded in EMR to improve clinical practice and accelerate diagnosis
Ensure all patient engagement activities comply with regulatory requirements, ethical guidelines, and industry codes of conduct across all markets
Champion patient-centricity across the organization by bringing patient insights and perspectives to leadership discussions and strategic planning
Manage budget allocation and resource planning for patient activation initiatives, ensuring optimal return on investment and impact
Build and maintain relationships with key medical and health tech opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and other external stakeholders
Drive innovation in patient engagement through digital solutions, patient registries, real-world evidence generation, and emerging technologies
About you
Bachelor's degree required in life sciences, public health, business, or related field
MBA, MPH, or advanced degree strongly preferred
8+ years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
5+ years of experience in Marketing, Customer engagement with 2-3 years of Global experience preferable
Rare disease experience strongly preferred; experience with addressing diagnostic challenges
Proven track record of building and scaling patient programs from concept to implementation
Global experience with demonstrated ability to work across cultures and healthcare systems
Strong leadership experience with direct management of teams, including remote/global teams
Skills & Competencies:
Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence senior leadership and external stakeholders
Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations
Experience with digital health technologies and innovative engagement approaches

The salary range for this position is:
$206,250.00 - $297,916.66All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
