The Associate Director, Market Research – Dermatology, will be a key member of the Insights and Analytics (I&A) team for Dupixent, a highly visible, high-priority brand. You will be responsible for providing market and customer insights by executing HCP and consumer market research to inform key strategic and tactical decisions across Sanofi. This individual will be an integral strategic partner to Sanofi Commercial leadership, leading the development & application of cutting-edge market research methodologies to unlock the full potential of Dupixent in Dermatology.

This position will report to the Director, Market Research – Dupixent and will be based in Cambridge, MA or Morristown, NJ

Main Responsibilities:

Identify and Drive Customer Insights to Support Commercial Teams

  • Lead market research projects to support the brand strategy, including identification of market research needs, vendor selection, design, execution, and interpretation of studies.

  • Manage projects within budgets, schedules, and corporate policies and SOPs.

  • Identify and utilize innovative techniques to address business questions.

  • Provide ongoing strategic perspective and “big picture” thinking to the role.

  • Generate market research plans and demonstrate the ability to adapt them as needs change.

  • Proactively identify insight needs and recommend approaches to address these needs.

Communicate Actionable Insights

  • Develop and refine presentations to clearly and concisely communicate complex information.

  • Integrate and synthesize information from multiple sources, including secondary/claims data, to proactively address business needs.

  • Translate market research insights and data into actionable recommendations.

  • Show strategic business acumen when communicating insights, addressing key business questions, and providing recommendations.

  • Present market research insights at Senior Leadership levels.

Effectively Collaborate and Partner Within a Matrix Environment

  • Work closely with brand teams to identify and address business needs.

  • Develop strong strategic partnerships with the brand teams.

  • Collaborate across functions (i.e., forecasting, analytics, patient services) to deliver integrated insights and recommendations to commercial teams.

  • Demonstrate a solution-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Work with Global colleagues to ensure alignment and coordination across projects.

About You

PROFILE AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of primary market research experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.

  • Proven ability to recommend, plan, and lead market research projects.

  • Highly collaborative approach

  • Proficient in a broad range of primary marketing research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative design.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree preferred.

  • Demonstrates ability to maintain objectivity and uphold high standards of ethical and intellectual integrity.

  • Proven ability to be both strategic and tactical in your thinking, approaches, and recommendations.

  • Excellent communication skills with a well-developed ability to communicate efficiently both verbally and in writing.

  • Must have proven experience presenting and addressing questions/challenges at Senior Leadership levels.

  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.

  • Demonstrated excellence in project management and managing multiple demands/priorities from various internal customers.

  • Working knowledge and experience with pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., prescription and sales data, patient claims data, promotional audits).

The salary range for this position is:

$125,250.00 - $208,750.00

All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
