Strategic context:

Commercialization excellence role is part of the new Sanofi Integrated Launch Capabilities (SILC) organization that is focused on defining and maintaining commercialization standards for the organization. It requires cross-functional collaboration to identify and deliver on these best-in-class commercialization standards. This work will be instrumental in shaping commercialization strategies that drive brand growth and performance, ensuring that our commercialization models evolve to meet shifting market demands and achieve sustainable success in an increasingly complex environment. This role will directly report to the Sanofi Integrated Launch Capabilities Head.

Main responsibilities:

Setting global commercialization standards: Develop key commercialization standards in areas across commercial, access and medical

  • You will define global commercialization standards of excellence across critical areas such as marketing/brand strategy, market development, market shaping, omnichannel excellence, GTM design

  • You will ensure that best practices and guidelines are consistently applied across all products and regions, helping to deliver successful product launches, performance, and lifecycle management

  • You will leverage insights across internal launch data points and external benchmarks to continuously refresh standards and keep these up to date

Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management: Foster internal cross-functional collaboration with marketing and Marketing and Sales, Medical, Market Access and Corporate Affairs teams to inform commercialization standards and share best practices

  • You will build and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships, working with Marketing and Sales, Medical, Market Access and Corporate Affairs teams to ensure alignment across the scope of commercialization

  • You will collect and disseminate strategic insights to senior management, both within the Launch organization and to other functions, driving informed decision-making and actionable business insights for commercialization strategies

  • You will serve as the interface between functions to ensure smooth execution of commercialization initiatives and develop business cases when necessary

About you

Experience:

  • You have demonstrated ability to lead a brand or business unit within the pharmaceutical industry, including proven experience in marketing strategy, brand positioning, product launches, and go-to-market strategy

  • You have a track record of leading cross-functional teams and partnering with key stakeholders across commercial, medical, and analytics functions

  • You have expertise in optimizing brand performance by partnering with and supporting business in data-driven insights generation, decision making, and commercial excellence activities

  • You have experience leading organization-wide commercialization efforts and ensuring business alignment between stakeholders

  • You have brand or launch experience in the US market, or in international markets specific to specialty launches

  • Education: Advanced degree in Business Analytics, Market Research, Data Science, or a related field

  • Languages: Fluent English; speaking one or several languages is a plus

The salary range for this position is:

$228,750.00 - $330,416.66
