Reporting to the Head of External Site Team Vaccines, is accountable to manage and transform the Operations role within EM&S Vaccines and leads Operations personnel.

Main responsibilities:
The Head of Vaccines Operations Team will work in partnership with The Head of the External Site Team, the External Manufacturing Product Teams (EMPT) heads and the other functional heads (Quality, Supply Chain, etc) and in alignment with All EM&S business partners (including ComOps & affiliates for Market Access Manufacturing Partnerships)
Supports on time and in full delivery of products for CMOs/MAMPs External Partners within External Site Team, accountable for reporting of Vaccines & EM&S Operations KPIs.
Lead the team monitoring the operational execution of the contracts, serving as primary focal point for daily operations and ensuring routine oversight at CMOs during manufacturing campaign.
Drives continuous improvement in internal and CMOs/MAMPs partners performance areas of Safety, Quality, Cost & Delivery.
Contribute to new flows and specifications implementation at CMOs and MAMPs partners.
Lead all aspects of people management for EST Operations personnel and is accountable for financial resource planning within budget, including generation and maintenance of labor model.
Supporting Sanofi's DE&I initiatives. Develops and maintains a positive culture to create the right environment for highly productive teams in a psychologically safe environment.
Advisor on the management of product/CMOs from an operational and financial perspective, contract topics and technical support. Ensure all EM&S operational related aspects of tech transfers and commercialization into new CMO's are effective.
Drives Standardization & Simplification initiatives working with functional heads and the Center of Excellence Technology, SMS, and Digital team.
Work with EMPT & CMO Business Operations Team to standardize contracts. Contribute to the introduction of new digital tools, (e.g., Power BI and Plai).
Work with EST and Procurement on implementation of cost saving initiatives.
Support problem resolution between Ops personnel & both internal and external business partners.

About you
Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience or master’s degree with 8 years of experience.
Strong foundation in industrial business processes and biotech/pharmaceutical technologies.
Experience in operational roles, ideally as Site manager, SLT member, Production Manager.
Experience with data management, digital platforms, and performance analytics.
Expertise in E2E product strategy, project management, and KPI optimization.
Cross-site and cross-GBU networking experience.
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated knowledge of operational excellence and continuous improvement methodologies
Languages:
Fluent English, French as a plus

The salary range for this position is:
$148,125.00 - $213,958.33All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
