Join Sanofi’s innovative team and contribute to cutting-edge drug discovery research. We are looking for a motivated Co-op student to join our Structural Biology and Biophysics group. The role involves using Cryo-Electron Microscopy (CryoEM) and X-ray Crystallography and biolphysical methods like SPR to study protein complex structures and assist ongoing drug discovery projects.

Main Responsibilities:
Candidate will learn to:
Prepare protein samples and perform structural analysis using CryoEM and X-ray Crystallography
Analyze and interpret data to support the development of novel drug candidates through biophysical techniques like SPR, DSF MST etc.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to project design and experimental planning.
Document experimental results and present findings to the team.
Participate in lab meetings and contribute to the advancement of ongoing research projects.
About You
Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship
Basic Qualifications:
Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s, master, or PhD. in Structural Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, or related field with the expectation that you will complete your current degree by the Spring 2027.
Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with protein biochemistry is a plus.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
