The Program Manager guides medium-to-large programs to ensure alignment with organizational goals and delivery within scope, time, and budget, coordinating activities within a single business, market, or function while managing stakeholder relationships. They implement detailed plans—timelines, resource allocation, and risk management—monitoring performance with KPIs, identifying interdependencies, and coordinating projects to ensure realization of benefits.
Your role:
- Guides medium to large sized programs, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and delivering expected outcomes within agreed scope, time, and budget constraints by meticulously managing resources and coordinating activities and applies advanced understanding of entrepreneurial skills and supports the entrepreneurial environment and follows up on initiatives.
- Interacts primarily within a single business, market, or function to coordinate program activities and manage stakeholder relationships effectively and efficiently, ensuring seamless communication and cooperation.
- Implements detailed program plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies, to ensure successful program execution by anticipating challenges and proactively addressing them.
- Monitors program performance using established KPIs such as schedule and cost variance, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues promptly to keep the program on track and within budget.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure that all program deliverables are integrated and aligned with broader organizational objectives and strategic goals, fostering a unified approach to achieving targets.
- Facilitates effective communication between project teams and stakeholders, ensuring transparency, addressing concerns, and maintaining program momentum through regular updates and feedback loops.
You're the right fit if:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree preferred.
- You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience in program management within a regulated environment.
- Your skills include stakeholder management, end to end program management and strong business acumen.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
- You’re a strategic thinker and strong communicator with the ability to own complex, cross‑functional programs with end‑to‑end accountability.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $136,000 to $216,000.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
