Are you interested in a co‑op opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing a Master’s (MS) degree to participate in a 6‑month co‑op opportunity at our site in Cambridge, MA. Through this role, you will gain meaningful, hands‑on experience working for a leading HealthTech company.
Your role:
Implement test automation for a Patient Monitoring Solution while identifying manual processes and inefficiencies and improving them through automation.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to support Continuous Delivery practices within an Agile environment.
Partner with application development and automation teams to design and write automation code for deploying and managing applications.
Convert functional requirements into Gherkin-based automated tests to support behavior-driven development.
Use your coding skills to build test automation and automate daily tasks while reviewing existing automation, identifying gaps, and improving overall test coverage and effectiveness.
You're the right fit if:
You are pursuing a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering or a related discipline.
Your skills include proficiency in C# or Java with experience in C#/.NET automation or development, along with familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Visual Studio, and WCF. You demonstrate a strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and test automation principles such as BDD, unit testing, and code coverage, as well as knowledge of XML and JSON data formats, industry automation tools and best practices, and experience tracking and reporting test results.
You have experience in software development or automation using C#/.NET, working within DevOps workflows and contributing to solutions in distributed or system-based environments. Your background includes knowledge of distributed testing architectures and testing techniques including BDD, Functional Testing, System Testing, System Integration, Test Automation, and experience in Medical Device and FDA-regulated environments is a plus.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The hourly pay range for this position is $33.00 to $46.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Cambridge, MA.
