High Growth Production Plant Manager
The Production Plant Manager is responsible for leading a newly Philips acquired manufacturing team. You would be responsible for overseeing a variety of processes and assembly lines and ensuring manufacturing site compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements, and cost-effective, reliable, and predictable manufacturing process outcomes. The role leads a team that will triple in size in the upcoming year. The role manages budget adherence, quality compliance, resource utilization, and talent development within the manufacturing environment. The role takes proactive measures to address complex problems, fosters innovation, and drives continuous improvement to meet organizational goals effectively.
Your role:
• Demonstrates proactive leadership in promoting and driving Operational Excellence by spearheading the initiation of improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing processes, enhancing productivity, and achieving operational efficiency.
• Leads a medium-sized manufacturing team, providing guidance and direction in overseeing diverse processes and assembly lines, while also shouldering the responsibility of serving as the local host manager for other functions within the organization.
• Assumes the responsibility for developing comprehensive Manufacturing cost of the organization's Annual Operating Plan and multi-year manufacturing and investment plans, aligning them with organizational objectives and financial targets.
• Oversees expenses and spending activities, ensuring strict adherence to the approved financial budget while concurrently driving the formulation and execution of the manufacturing site's strategic plan and business continuity planning.
• Identifies and effectively manages safety risks by conducting thorough site risk assessments, implementing operational controls, and developing corrective action plans to mitigate potential hazards and enhance workplace safety.
You're the right fit if:
- You’ve acquired 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's or Minimum 6 years of experience with a Master's in leading a fast-paced manufacturing team in a highly regulated environment. Experience in startups is a plus. (This is a people leader role of a team of 20 that will triple during 2026)
- Your skills include Manufacturing Principles, People Management, and Executive Stakeholder Management.
- You have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electro-mechanical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent. A master's Degree is preferred.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Bedford, Massachusetts, is $162,120 to $259,392
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
