The International Key Account Manager is responsible for developing, managing and growing strategic international customers. The role focuses on building long-term partnerships, increasing revenue, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction across different markets.
You will act as the main point of contact for key accounts, coordinate internal stakeholders, and drive the implementation of account plans aligned with the company’s global strategy.
Your role:
- Account Management & Growth
- Manage a portfolio of international key accounts, ensuring strong and long-lasting relationships.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and profitability goals.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and in new markets.
- Customer Relationship & Service
- Serve as the primary contact for all commercial and contractual matters for assigned accounts.
- Understand customer needs, challenges and decision-making processes to provide tailored solutions.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through regular reviews, business meetings and performance reporting.
- Sales & Negotiation
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and annual agreements with key customers.
- Prepare and deliver commercial proposals, tenders and presentations.
- Monitor sales performance, margins and volumes to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Internal Coordination
- Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service and Product teams to ensure seamless execution for key accounts.
- Coordinate forecasts and demand planning with internal stakeholders.
- Provide feedback from the market and customers to support product development and strategic decisions.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Track and analyze sales performance, KPIs and market trends for each key account.
- Prepare regular reports and business reviews for management.
- Maintain up-to-date records in CRM and other relevant systems.
You're the right fit if you have:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or a related field.
- At least 10 years experience in B2B sales, account management or business development, preferably in an international environment within Medical Device industry.
- Proven track record of managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build trust and long-term relationships at different organizational levels (operational to C-level).
- Solid analytical skills and confidence working with numbers, pricing and margins.
- Proactive, results-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) in addition to Italian as local languange
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 50% of the time.
