In this role, you have the opportunity to develop new customers, within your territory, in the Peripheral Vascular space and continue growth in a competitive environment. You will provide expert tools, training, ongoing support and patient education on world-class products to help eradicate restenosis, and amputation and modify all plaque. This philosophy is a fundamental principle of the Philips Image Guided Therapy Devices (IGT D) business.
This position is field based and would suit someone based around London for frequent travels in South of England.
Your role:
- Working in conjunction with the Segment Leader for Peripheral Vascular UK & Ireland, you will develop regional sales objectives and detailed action plans to achieve or exceed targets.
- Continuing to lead the introduction of the Stellarex drug coated balloon platform in your region, as well as taking responsibility for strengthening the Philips IGT Devices position in the Vascular Intervention market.
- Increasing the number of physicians using the Philips IGT Devices portfolio by identification and education relative to the diverse indications.
- Providing field presence to develop relations with key customers and support cases to ensure that physicians and staff are well trained, proficient and comfortable with the mode of action and expectations of each device.
- Developing strong relationship with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the various specialties.
- Developing laser catheter usage through all modalities (Peripheral and Coronary Atherectomy, Angioplasty, Thrombectomy and Crossing Solutions).
- Using the CRM tool, establish and maintain a current listing of all customers and potential customers.
- Monitor and notify marketing of competitive products, promotional sales selling techniques, pricing, warranties and marketing policies.

How we work together
This is a field based role from a convenient location around London for frequent travels throughout the South territory
You’re right for this role if:
- Successful sales track record is required – including business and market development in unexplored territories.
- Medical Device sales experience and clinical knowledge in peripheral and coronary intervention
- Excellent knowledge of the hospital sales and purchasing environment within the NHS and Private sector.
- Strong capacity to establish and maintain KOL relationships.
- An ability to develop clinical arguments relative to clinical studies and data into robust commercial opportunities.
- Excellent Presentation skills (present of Philips IGT Devices products and clinical data in front of audience of end users and buyers).
- Entrepreneurial spirit and self-starter mentality, capable of working independently, bringing new ideas and enthusiasm.
- Able and willing to travel frequently in the territory, and occasionally abroad.
- A degree background or equivalent
Due to the role working in the healthcare environment, a standard DBS (Disclosure and Baring Service) criminal record check will be required for this role.
