Product Manager, IT & Data Services
As the Product Manager for IT & Data Services in Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM), you will play the lead role in defining the strategy for infrastructure and data-focused managed services, gaining buy-in for the strategy, driving the product development execution and leading the go-to-market processes.
Your role:
Our hospital customers have increasingly complex Information Technology environments, managing on-prem data centers and migrating workloads to the cloud, managing massive amounts of data, while maintaining the highest security standards with increasingly strained budgets. Our hospital customers look to partners such as Philips to help manage their infrastructure and create insights from data to improve service and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
- Develop and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for service products in the IT and data management spaces. Create a deep understanding of customer needs and market opportunities through research with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Own the business P&L for your service products; Create business cases backed by research for new service opportunities; Optimize the cost drivers for your service products, including service delivery and vendor contracts; Optimize revenue via improved pricing strategies and new monetization strategies.
- Design, develop and maintain IT & data service products, leading your own agile development team and global cross-functional project teams; collaborate with other product teams to create integrated solutions; and form new partnerships with vendors for IT and data service development and operations where needed.
- Develop the go-to-market strategy for your service products, coordinating with regional marketing, sales, business operations, training and customer support teams for new service launches. Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, security requirements, legal considerations, potential risks and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure customers are successful with your service products. Identify and track key adoption and satisfaction metrics, address customer challenges and proactively identify ways to enhance your customer’s experience.
You're the right fit if:
- You have 8+ years of experience in service product management, preferably at an IT managed services company or a data-focused Software-as-a-Service company, in a regulated industry. Experience with building and operating IT infrastructure or a data platform as a product manager, developer, or operations engineer.
- Your skills include working with current state-of-the-art server platforms, operating systems, containers/VMs, networking, and databases, data pipelines, data lakes within on-prem data centers and cloud.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, required and master’s degree is preferred.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
- You’re an excellent collaborator within a matrixed organization of global teams and are intellectually curious and versatile, with a bias towards action, creating clear paths through complexity, iterating and continually learning.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $135,000 to $216,000.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
