Global Operation Materials Management Director
The Global Operation Materials Management Director is responsible for leading the operations materials management team for Ultrasound, specially focused on transducers, formulating strategic directions, overseeing budgeting processes, overseeing global planning developments, defining improvement opportunities to decrease cost.
Your role:
• Leads a team including People Managers that focus on material availability, inventory and cost.
• Manages primary stakeholders: Manufacturing Site Leaders. Formulates strategic directions to ensure material availability to enable business continuity in the production line.
• Develops and oversees the budgeting process for Ultrasound, managing supplier relationship, ensuring alignment with budget goals, accurate forecasting of expenses, and effective allocation of resources to support operational efficiency and financial objectives.
You're the right fit if:
- You’ve acquired 8+ years of experience in supply chain, ideally focused on materials management and 5+ years leading people managers (team size: 90 persons)
- Your skills include Materials, Inventory and Budget Management. As a People Leader your skills include a strong performance management mindset.
- You have a bachelor's degree in Business Economics, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics or equivalent.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This role is an office role in our office in Bothell, Reedsville or Pittsburgh.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Washington is $162,120 to $259,392 and in Pennsylvania is $144,750 to $231,600.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
