As the Events Senior Manager for the North America region, you will play a pivotal role in developing exceptional and innovative event experiences that highlight Philips' brand, products, and solutions, ensuring high engagement and driving robust activities before, during and after events. You will manage an Events team and work closely with Marketing leaders (region and businesses) and other key stakeholders.
Your role:
- Transforms the portfolio into an optimal combination of innovative customer experiences (such as tradeshows and proprietary events), executes on time and on budget, ensures consistency with the Philips brand while being aligned with strategy as defined by Head of Global Events and in cooperation with your Regional Marketing Teams.
- Drives the execution of complex events from conception to completion, managing all phases including planning, budgeting, vendor management, on-site execution, detailed post-event reporting and continuous improvement recommendations.
- Builds and nurtures strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, internal teams, external vendors and clients, to foster collaboration and ensure successful event execution.
- Implements sophisticated measurement and analytics frameworks to evaluate event performance, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and demonstrate return on investment (ROI).
- Innovates by continuously researching and incorporating industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies into Philips' event strategies, staying ahead in the competitive event landscape.
- Leads an Events team and is expected to travel around 25%.
You're the right fit if:
- You’ve acquired 7 + years of experience managing large events and processes across a complex organization; experience in Healthcare or Technology B2B, B2G events strongly preferred; and event vendor/agency management experience required.
- Your skills include managing direct reports, project management and organization with the ability to lead internal and external resources; ability to craft plans to measure and evaluate event success; excellent people management skills and managing a large event portfolio.
- You’re an expert level communicator with the ability to interact with and influence stakeholders, including C-level; Strategic thinking skills and know how to optimize processes and delivers results.
- You have a Bachelor's degree in relevant field; Master's Degree preferred.
- Proficiency in MS office, lean process and project methodology tools are a plus as well as Salesforce, MS Team, SharePoint and other event management tools which are also a plus.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This role is an office role in Cambridge, Massachusetts or Nashville, Tennessee.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Cambridge, Massachusetts is $135,240.00 to $216,384.00.
The pay range for this position in Nashville, Tennessee is $120,750.00 to $193,200.00.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
