Director, Product Management – Cardiology Ultrasound (Cambridge, MA)
The Director of Product Management is a key leadership role for Philips Ultrasound Cardiology Category—critical to definition and execution of roadmap, Value Proposition Creation, and New Product Introduction strategy in highly innovative and competitive space.
Your role:
- Owns the feature and value proposition roadmap for cardiology ultrasound, from research to advanced development to execution of formal new product introduction processes.
- Integrates market and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions and keep the organization ahead in the industry. Leads the strategy for engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in collaboration with the Clinical Marketing Strategy team, ensuring their engagement and leveraging their expertise.
- Collaborates with R&D, Clinical Product Management, and Clinical Scientists in the development of functional specifications and prioritization of features to meet Customer needs. Spearheads participation in clinical research, concept, and feasibility projects to drive innovation.
- Coordinates with and presents to senior management, executives, and major customers, using negotiation and influence to address complex issues, drive corporate processes, and achieve desired results
- Leads succession planning and comprehensive talent management for direct staff, driving employee selection, performance management, compensation management, and career development in alignment with organizational operational goals.
You're the right fit if:
- You’ve acquired 10+ years of related product management experience; medical device preferred, ideally in Ultrasound.
- Your skills include:
- Ability to drive a strategize, integrate diverse and incomplete sources of data, structure choices, prioritize, and guide teams in doing so.
- Ability to make tough decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise delivering complex projects to meet demanding feature, cost, quality, and introduction date targets.
- You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (MBA preferred).
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
- You have demonstrable communication skills and ability to lead a cross-functional organization to develop and launch market leading products and solutions.
- Travel required, estimated up to 25%.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $176,400 to $282,240.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
