Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree to participate in paid intern opportunities. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company.
Your role:
- Provide Mechanical Engineering support for the development of next generation Intra-cardiac Echocardiography (ICE) ultrasound imaging transducers
- Participate in the development of new tooling and mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks
- Set up and execute experimental evaluation of material designs and fabrication processes
- Work alongside a multidiscipline group of engineers ranging from mechanical, electrical, materials, acoustic, and system/software engineers
- Deep-dive into real engineering problems and learn to implement products through the engineering design process (Design-Build-Test-Learn-Repeat)
You're the right fit if:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
- A strong team player (Social skills, collaboration, and teamwork are all integral to a successful product)
- Previous design and test experience (third time co-ops preferred)
- Knowledge and understanding of Solidworks (part, assembly, and drawing skillset)
- An independent, self-sufficient, and responsible student
- Strong critical thinker and embracive of new and challenging problems
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The hourly pay range for this position is $28.00 – 45.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
