Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree to participate in paid intern opportunities. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company.
Your role:
- Learn about Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) evaluation for medical devices, perform EMC tests and write EMC reports
- Our EMC group is responsible for evaluating medical and information technology equipment according to EMC standards. Results of their work is reviewed by Quality Engineers and Regulatory Authorities (e.g. FDA)
- Gain knowledge and experience in EMC standards requirements and testing. There is no travel required. Our EMC laboratory is located in Andover Massachusetts
You're the right fit if:
- You are pursuing a degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Electronics Technology
- Your skills include the ability to use EMC Test Equipment, understand electrical concepts, read and write technical English documents and operate various computer applications
- You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience in University and/or previous internships or coops or your work experience is in the same or similar field as an individual contributor
- You work well in a team environment, possess good communication skills
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The hourly pay range for this position is $28.00 – 45.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
