This is an excellent opportunity to make a true impact by being responsible for creating employee and external communications to effectively promote Philips medical, clinical, and scientific expertise and demonstrate how Philips’ portfolio and activities are grounded in science and clinical research.
Your role:
You’ll be part of a communications team that collaborates with teams across the Philips Communications and Brand organization, the Medical Office, Philips’ Patient Safety & Quality organization (comprising Quality and Regulatory Affairs), Government Affairs and Innovation.
Our work is focused on bringing Philips’ medical and clinical expertise to life both inside and outside Philips, building Philip’ reputation as an innovative leader in health technology through our work with medical and scientific communities, global regulators, MedTech industry associations, and industry analyst firms.
You will report to the Head of Medical and Scientific Communications & Industry Relations. The role is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
You're the right fit if:
You have 5+ years of related experience in Medical/Healthcare industry or Technology/innovation Business to Business Communications strongly preferred.
Your skills include excellent messaging, copywriting/editorial skills, as well as visual content creation, video briefing ability and experience of using internal engagement platforms; strong project management and organizational skills; and experience working in a matrixed organization.
You have experience in digital media and other program-application knowledge (Viva Engage, Viva Engage Live Events, Teams, Teams Live Events, Mass Mail, Camtasia, SharePoint, newsletter, Excel, etc.); Photoshop, InDesign, and video production’; LinkedIn/social media.
You have a bachelor’s degree (or higher education degree) in English or Communications-related field.
You have a passion for the healthcare/medical and technology/innovation industries, scientific writing experience a plus. You have team spirit and a great attitude.
