Finance Sr Manager, FP&A

Job Description

Lead the Philips NAM Commercial FP&A Health Systems processes and work closely together with the Health Systems Equipment Head of Finance and other members of the North America Finance team, to achieve financial goals of the market.

Your role:

  • Oversee Health Systems North America Commercial FP&A Sales & OIT (Order Intake) processes and deliverables, ensuring effective reporting and analysis.

  • Work closely with Business Partners and the Finance organization to deliver reporting, insights, and plans; translate variances in KPIs into actionable steps.

  • Create and present visual reports on variances in Actuals, Forecasts, and AOP to the NAM CFO and FP&A Commercial Group, and drive process improvements with digital tools.

  • Mentor the FP&A analyst in Health Systems OIT and Sales, build relationships with Market Heads of Finance and other functions, and collaborate with the North America Finance staff to achieve market financial goals.

  • Implement global standard tools, represent NAM market requirements for FP&A developments, and design and harmonize reporting and planning processes across the region.

You're the right fit if:

  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in Finance, FP&A, financial control, management reporting, and analysis, preferably in an international setting. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business economics, Finance, or Accounting, with post-graduate qualifications like MBA, MSc, CFA, CPA, or CMA preferred.

  • Proven depth in end-to-end business knowledge, financial analytics, and strategic insight. Advanced technical skills in Excel, digital data analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau), ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and PowerPoint. Experience in lean techniques, including root cause analysis and implementation of countermeasures.

  • Demonstrated experience in coaching, mentoring, and operational oversight of team members. Ability to effectively communicate, lead change initiatives, and partner with management and functional teams to drive transformation.

  • Strong intellectual capacity to analyze complex information, identify trends, and translate data into actionable insights. Curious mindset with excellent communication skills and the ability to balance speed and accuracy while taking ownership of transformation initiatives.
