The Sr. Program Manager-Patient Interface will play a critical role as a Program Champion, responsible for leading New Product Development, Research and feasibility activities for Patient Interface products in the Sleep & Respiratory Care market.
Your role:
- Develop, and assure compliance to, program/project goals, including project schedule milestones, product cost targets, and product quality and reliability measures.
- The candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, new product development environment.
- Coordinating and scheduling program/project activities using appropriate project management techniques, technical judgment and interpersonal skills.
- Actively lead and participate in periodic program/project meetings, design reviews, R&D reviews, manufacturing reviews, and preparing and communicating project overviews and status reports to executive management.
- Work with the Research Engineering Directors and Managers to ensure program/project objectives are appropriately defined.
- Lead the proactive identification and mitigation of project risks.
- Track all issues and action items to closure.
- Assure project teams follow Quality System and Business Management System processes.
- Effectively use Philips Respironics systems to achieve program/project deliverables relative to safety, effectiveness, usability, manufacturability, reliability, cost, quality, and time to market.
- This Hybrid, Murrysville, PA based role may require travel up to 10%.
- Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Murrysville, PA.
You're the right fit if:
- You have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in Program/Project management within FDA regulated medical device product development/R&D environments, with the ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects.
- You have expertise in all aspects of program/project management, planning, and execution, demonstrating an outstanding record of project management success, both in results achieved and in use of professional methodology.
- You have proven experience utilizing Microsoft Project (Required) in developing schedules, assigning resources, tracking progress, managing budgets etc.
- You’re able to communicate project status in a clear, concise manner, to business leadership regarding schedules, risks, budget and resources.
- You’re an interested and engaged contributor to the team's creative problem solving/technical challenges, with the ability to see the “big picture” of a project, while monitoring the effectiveness and contributions of the individual project functions.
- You’re able to facilitate the recognition of project risks, define corrective actions and track project to closure.
- You’re self-motivated, able to maintain composure, manage/mitigate conflicts and make timely decisions.
- You have extensive experience combating/mitigating project challenges, with the ability to develop, work with and communicate effectively with cross-functional, global project teams and the greater S&RC organization.
- You have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (required), Master’s degree/MBA (preferred).
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
