Solution SW Test Engineer

Job Description

Join a dynamic, fast-moving software test and automation engineering team testing best-in-class medical solutions. Work with the latest Microsoft© integrated development environment (Azure DevOps), using the latest automation tooling.

Your role:

  • Review of requirements (design inputs) and ensure testability of requirements
  • Generation of test plans and scenarios including clinical workflows and customer use models
  • Definition and execution of test cases for integration and solution testing
  • Close collaboration with System Engineers to identify non-functional requirements such as system performance and system reliability
  • Detail oriented with demonstrated ability to understand and assess a complex software application or scenario with particular focus on the development and execution of comprehensive test scripts or protocols and defect (failure mode) detection
  • Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and basic understanding and troubleshooting knowledge of cloud computing principles and services
  • Understanding and experience with FHIR and HL7/medical device interfacing
  • Understanding and experience with testing of Mobile (Android and iOS) application and web applications
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking, storage and database

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or any related engineering or technical discipline
  • 5+ years working in a medical device industry or other regulated industry
  • Experience testing highly critical real-time large-scale distributed client-server, web and cloud based applications (preferably healthcare).
  • Experience providing vision and strategy planning of testing medical solutions to the test organization
  • Experience developing regression and/or functional test suites
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
