The Director, Go to Market Strategy is responsible for accelerating commercial performance by leading organizational transformations, designing selling models, and optimizing sales enablers such as territory deployment and incentive compensation. This role will be at the forefront of IGT’s unique commercial strategy that combines complex equipment, single-use devices, and services into solutions unique to Philips. This leader will combine med-tech industry expertise, strategic thinking, and operational excellence to empower commercial leaders and maximize IGT’s commercial effectiveness.
The Director, IGT Go to Market Strategy reports to Business Transformation, Strategy, and Integration Leader. This role will manage a growing team of 7 individuals and works cross-functionally with other internal Philips departments to maximize efforts.
Your role:
- Go to market strategy, including design of value-prop, sales roles, structure, resource optimization, sales process, and other GTM requirements
- Program and project management within the sales transformation domain
- Design of sales territories in close partnership with sales leadership and business excellence partners, including balancing metrics, overlay methodology, etc.
- Administration of sales territories, executing annual and quarterly changes in partnership with sales leadership and business excellence partners
- Design of sales incentives frameworks in close partnership with HR, Sales leadership, and finance partners, plan mechanics, quota methodology, and MBO frameworks
- Administration of sales quota deployment and incentive payouts, including quality control and financial risk management
- Management of governance to define, deploy, and administer all aspects of territory management and incentives
- Enhance and automate operational processes to reduce manual effort and human error
- Enhance IGT’s compensation and territory management tooling
- Motivate and manage a team of senior analysts
- Work closely with sales leadership, finance, legal, HR and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on sales compensation programs.
You're the right fit if:
- 15+ years of demonstrated expertise in complex sales & marketing operations processes
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Demonstrated experience leading large scale organizational change with quantifiable business impact
- Experience with sales territory and compensation design and administration
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions
- Ability to influence and collaborate with senior level management team
- Able to clearly communicate complex information in an easy to understand manner
- Able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing
- Strong management skills and capability to develop talent
- Strong sense of urgency with a demonstrated record of meeting commitments
- Ability to balance business pressures with compliance requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years in healthcare industry
- Prior management consulting or similar experience
- Master’s in Business Administration
- Experience in large scale commercial operations integration or transformation
- Experience in large scale operational process improvement
- Experience applying lean methodology to transactional processes
- Leadership to inspire others and critical thinking skills to imagine new possibilities

Philips Transparency Details
Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + annual incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $200,000 to $285,000 annually. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.
Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Details about our benefits can be found here.
