What You Will Achieve
Working with Pfizer’s dynamic reliability team, you will play a critical part in managing the maintenance and reliability engineering activities involving the redesign, maintenance, and repair of utilities systems, buildings, and production/non-production equipment.
Your prior work experience and ability to apply your breadth of knowledge will help you adapt the standard methods and procedures. You will help us identify required delivery and process improvements that drive increased efficiency, throughput and quality. You will arrive at decisions on which methods and procedures are the best fit for different work situations.

How You Will Achieve It
Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of production, facility, and laboratory equipment with little to no supervision.
Contributes to evolution of instrumentation maintenance tasks within a CMMS application
Respond to and ensure completion of Emergency and High priority work requests.
Manage own time, professional development, and accountable for own results.
Make useful recommendations regarding improved equipment performance.
Follow safety procedures, recommended practices, job hazard analysis (JHA) and complies with plant safety program at all times.
Know general shop safety practices, including handling and storage of calibration standards.
Ensure utility activities comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (also see cGMP) and other related regulatory practices.
Read and follow equipment schematics, blueprints logic diagrams and engineering drawings.
Use electrical/mechanical testing equipment in a safe manner.
Provides support and training to less experienced technicians
Serve as backup for management activities temporarily as needed.
Qualifications (Must-Have)
High School Diploma or GED
6+ years of calibration or instrumentation & controls experience
Possess skill to understand and execute complex maintenance task for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated systems
Computer skills, good written and verbal English communication skills
Strong troubleshooting ability
Strong understanding of P&ID and schematics
Strong understanding of LOTO and electrical safety (Arc flash, EQP)
Ability to complete loop wiring troubleshooting for analog and discrete devices and simulate analog signals, measure loop resistance, etc.
Nice-to-Have
Pharmaceutical and/or Bio-Pharmaceutical experience and knowledge of {Current} Good Manufacturing Practices {part of GxP} operations
Knowledge of computer software, including Word, Excel and calibration software.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
This position will involve field work and office work requiring sitting, standing, and walking. This position may also require the ability to work at high elevation while being tied off; be able to lift 50 pounds and be able to wear a clean room gown.

This is a Sunday - Wednesday 6:00a.m. to 4:30 p.m. shift.
Work Location Assignment: On Premise
