Job Details
Persivia is seeking a Systems Administrator II to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of the corporate server, network, and application infrastructure. Candidate must be local to Marlboro MA, able to come in a couple of times a week, as well as go to our Data Center in Somerville MA.

Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and maintain corporate server infrastructure (mixture of virtual and physical servers).
• Monitor the network to ensure high availability.
• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
• Troubleshoot problems reported by users.
• Perform database management, maintenance, and monitoring.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor procedures for all server backups.
• Assist in supporting the corporate desktop computing environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist with SOC II Audit.
• Set up new employees with laptop buildouts.
Required Skills/Knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, technical field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of relation databases (SQL Server); backups, SQL queries, etc.
• Knowledge of core TCP/IP networking principles and key protocols.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Windows Servers in an active directory environment.
• Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate server access and use.
• Coordinate and implement server and systems security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Development processes to automate repetitive tasks within the team.
• Lifecycle and Asset management – tracking and identification of all team-supported hardware and software.
• Prior SAN storage experience.
• Prior experience with virtual server technology (VMWare preferred).
• Prior experience with Cloud Computing technologies (Amazon AWS preferred).
• Prior Network and Firewall experience (Preferably Palo Alto and Fortinet Firewalls).
• Strong problem-solving, organization, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Provide evening and weekend support as necessary to accommodate production schedules.

• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills/Knowledge
• Server/Network Security principles and practices
• Working knowledge of Office 365
• Working knowledge of Atlassian (Confluence, JIRA)
• Experience working in Healthcare IT
• Experience with high-availability systems
• Knowledge of clustering and web farms
• Microsoft MCSE certification
