Quality Assurance Engineer (Boston, MA)

Leverage knowledge of information science and technology and work closely with the Company’s Product department to deliver quality software to millions of users from Fortune 500 as well as midmarket companies. Specific duties include:
- Collaborate with senior Quality Assurance (“QA”) Engineers on test plan development and execution and assist in developing automated test cases for core product components.
- Create and review QA test plans for release cycles, to develop the most effective plans and testing strategies possible.
- Develop tooling and implement third-party testing to consistently remove manual testing on software engineering processes when alternatives are available.
- Build relationships with Front End, Back End, Platform, and DevOps Engineers, helping them improve their own pre-QA testing of software systems and applications.
- Advocate for QA execution and reaction time when planning product release timelines
- Exhibit excellent attention to detail when testing, proving yourself as a trusted member of the Technology team.
May telecommute 100% of the workweek from any U.S. location.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related quantitative field, plus one (1) year of experience as a QA Engineer, QA Analyst, or QA related role. Experience, which may be gained concurrently, must include the following:
- One (1) year of quality assurance experience using black-box and white-box testing;
- One (1) year of experience with automated testing methodologies, including unit, functional, contract, integration, and end-to-end;
- One (1) year of experience testing cross-platform, cross-device, web, and mobile platforms;
- One (1) year of experience using programming languages including Java, Javascript, Python, and SQL;
- One (1) year of experience testing workloads on Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP; and
- One (1) year of experience with CI/CD pipelines and source control systems, including Git.
