We are looking for an ambitious and self-directed Human Resources Generalist to join our small HR team and play a pivotal role in recruiting, onboarding, and retaining talent. This individual will partner with our hiring managers to source, interview, and onboard new talent as well as drive employee engagement through training, employee events and recognition programs. Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, this individual collaborates with internal hiring partners on strategic and tactical recruitment through creative sourcing methods, networking, and employment branding to align with MedMinder’s growth. MedMinder is based in Norwood, MA, and this role can be hybrid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire recruitment process for our open requisitions from end to end.
- Work with hiring managers to define hiring profiles, develop and execute effective sourcing and recruiting strategies, and create structured interview plans.
- Use creative sourcing methods to create a pipeline of qualified candidates, especially for hard-to-find positions such as Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
- Review resumes and phone screen candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers and interviewers throughout the process, acting as a coach, guide, and advisor on all aspects related to Talent Acquisition.
- Provide a high-touch, positive experience for each candidate by managing candidate communication and expectations throughout the hiring process.
- Track candidates using the Applicant Tracking System to streamline the hiring process for managers and candidates and ensure information is accurate and up to date.
- Identify opportunities to improve our hiring processes and/or adopt new tools and partnerships which will enhance the efficiency of our recruitment operations.
- Effectively market company’s brand to attract and seek out qualified candidates and build up applicant pool by attending job fairs, establishing relationships with local communities, schools, and colleges, employment agencies and recruiters, as needed, as well as properly leveraging social media, forums, websites.
- Communicate with managers and employees regularly to promote our company referral program and internal opportunities.
- Manage the new employee onboarding process to ensure a seamless and engaging candidate to employee transition.
- Implement and conduct company-wide training and workshops designed to enhance manager’s and employee’s knowledge and skills and create paths for continuous learning.
- Assesses employee engagement and training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers and employees.
- Work with our employee engagement committee to plan, coordinate and execute all employee engagement events.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced setting; healthcare and pharmacy recruiting experience is ideal.
- 2+ years of employee engagement, training and development experience is needed.
- Proficiency with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems is necessary.
- Proven success moving candidates through the entire recruitment experience including sourcing, networking, interviewing, salary negotiation and offer.
- Expertise in using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools to engage and attract passive talent.
- Experience using recruiting metrics to hire the best talent in the shortest time frame.
- Ability to support and guide managers through the recruiting process.
- Strong knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices surrounding recruitment and hiring.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; exceptional follow-up skills across a diverse organization.
- Someone who thrives in a setting where they are balancing multiple priorities and enjoys working independently as much as being part of a team.
- Discretion to handle confidential/sensitive information and know when to escalate an issue.
