Senior Director, Distribution Center Operations
Location: On-Site
Are you an experienced Distribution Center, Warehouse, or Supply Chain leader ready to lead a large-scale operation? We are seeking a Senior Director, Distribution Center Operations to drive operational excellence, financial performance, safety, quality, and workforce engagement across a high-volume distribution center.
What You'll Do
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Lead all distribution center operations, including receiving, inventory, fulfillment, shipping, and quality.
- Execute long-term operational strategies aligned with business objectives and supply chain performance goals.
- Deliver results across safety, service, productivity, quality, and cost metrics.
Financial & Business Management
- Own operating and capital budgets, driving cost optimization and profitability.
- Use data, KPIs, and analytics to support strategic decision-making and performance improvement.
Continuous Improvement & Transformation
- Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Drive process standardization, automation, and large-scale operational improvements.
People & Culture Leadership
- Lead a large, multi-layered workforce, including unionized employees.
- Build high-performing teams focused on safety, accountability, engagement, and development.
- Partner with Labor Relations to foster positive union relationships.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with Health Canada regulations, cGMP standards, and internal policies.
- Maintain audit readiness and operational integrity across the site.
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- 12+ years of leadership experience in distribution, warehousing, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- 7+ years leading large-scale operations and multi-level teams.
Preferred
- Experience leading unionized distribution center operations.
- Expertise in warehouse, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
- Experience managing significant operating and capital budgets.
