Job Summary

Reporting toThe Medicine ShoppeMarketing Manager, theSrAssociate, Local Marketing will be responsible for the coordination and deployment of local marketing programsand initiatives acrossThe Medicine Shoppepharmacies inRest ofCanada(Canada excluding Quebec). TheSrAssociate willplan,recommend and implement local marketing solutions to supportpharmacyownersas needed. With strong attention to detail, theSrAssociate is action-oriented andhas the ability tosuccessfully lead multiple projects and meet deadlines. Theyareexpected tocollaborate andshare best practiceswith otherlocal marketingAssociatesin The Medicine Shoppe andother pharmacy banners.Theywill workdirectly withpharmacyowners, vendorsand internal departments to achieve the best results,where theirprofessional client-facingservice and communication skillswill be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, present and update local marketingplanstopharmacyowners, based ontheirneeds andobjectives.

  • Develop and executelocal marketing requests,such asanniversaries, mailings, newspaper ads, radio ads, in-storepromotions,displays,social media ads,etc.

  • Supportpharmacyowners with their local marketing needsby making recommendationsto achieve their business objectivesand coach them throughthe timelines,media investmentand technical challenges, if any.

  • Develop andexecutethe creation and delivery of local marketing toolsand programsforgroups of pharmacyowners, such as turn-keybundles, marketing toolboxmaterials,andtemplates.

  • Useavailable advertising reports (Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, etc.)tomeasure and analyze the performance of local campaigns and make recommendations topharmacyowners.

  • Monitorconsumercomments/reviews ontheGoogleMy Businessdashboardand other community sitesand escalate situations topharmacyownersas needed.

  • Collaborate closely with the Brand Marketing Specialist to adaptnationaladvertising campaigns into local campaigns.

  • Regularly communicatethelocal marketing offeringto ownersto drive engagement and usage of services.

  • In collaboration with theretaillearningacademyteam, develop and updatelocalmarketing guides, webinars orworkshops forpharmacyowners.

  • Createtimelines for all projects andstrictly adhere todeadlines and budgets.

  • Collaborateclosely with the graphic studioandfollow uponstudio briefs for graphic projects.

  • Executeallbilling for local marketing initiativesand programs

  • Ad hoc tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree,or equivalent, in a marketing, digital marketing,or communications related field

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in retail, pharmacy,or healthcare

  • Proven track record of being able to managemultiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong understanding of marketing principles

  • Strongproficiency in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Experiencewithsocial media, Meta Business Manager,Googlemarketing platforms, GoogleAnalytics

  • Experience with Asana project management software is a plus

  • Experience with billingand/or SAPis a plus

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills(in English)

  • Customer-centric mindsetand strong interpersonal skills; comfortable communicating with pharmacy ownersvia email and phoneon a regular basis

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines and budgets

  • Resourcefulness, initiative, and a results-oriented approach

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent analyticalskills;ability to track campaign performance and identify areas for optimization

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other colleagues and teams; ability to adapt to changing priorities

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $66,200 - $88,300
