Position Overview
We're seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team and help maintain the critical systems that keep our distribution center running smoothly. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a technically minded professional who enjoys solving complex problems and working with advanced automated equipment.
Schedule & Compensation
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Day Shift)
Flexibility: Occasional evening shift coverage may be required
Compensation: $30.00-$32.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
Status: Full-time with benefits
Key Responsibilities
Expertly troubleshoot, repair, and maintain sophisticated electronic and electro-mechanical systems throughout our state-of-the-art distribution facility
Provide specialized electrical support for mission-critical equipment including conveyor systems, A-Frame sorters, industrial printers, automated strappers, air compressors, and other advanced distribution technologies
Apply advanced diagnostic techniques to quickly identify and resolve electrical issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency
Continuously expand your technical knowledge by learning new systems and staying current with industry innovations
Serve as a technical leader and mentor to facilities assistants, sharing knowledge and fostering team development
Build and maintain strategic relationships with equipment vendors to ensure optimal service, support, and parts availability
Minimum Requirements
Experience: Minimum 3+ years in industrial maintenance or electrical work (5+ years preferred)

Technical Expertise:
Advanced troubleshooting skills for voltage systems and AC/DC circuitry
Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics and technical documentation
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications for documentation and communication
Thorough understanding of Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and relevant OSHA safety regulations

Adaptable mindset with enthusiasm for learning new technologies
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree, trade school certification, or equivalent technical training in a relevant field.
Trade school certification in Industrial Maintenance or Electrical Systems
Experience with automated distribution center equipment
PLC programming knowledge
Physical Requirements
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 75 pounds
Flexibility working in a 24/7 operational environment with occasional schedule flexibility
Physical capability to stand, walk, sit, and perform general maintenance tasks throughout shifts
Proficiency using ladders, scissor lifts, and fork trucks safely
Ability to climb up to 4 stories within our warehouse facility
Capability to carry and operate laptops, tablets, handheld devices, and diagnostic equipment
