The Business Process Consultant provides process analysis and improvement recommendations for business processes within their area of expertise to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. They work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for enhancement, design new processes or modify existing ones, and ensure successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze current business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop detailed documentation of as-is and to-be processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Design and develop process maps, workflows, and procedures.
  • Conduct training sessions on newly implemented processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of improved processes.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to end users.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related field.

Critical Skills

  • At least 2 years of experience in business process consulting.

  • Strong knowledge of process modeling tools such as Visio or Miro.

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.

  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles is a plus.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
