Our organization aims to expand our team in the US with strong profiles to focus on US based pharma headquarters. As we are currently building this US part of the global team, an experienced individual with a suitable career path has the option to develop into the US team lead for RWCA.

This position sits in the global Data, Technology and Advisory Services CoEs, which designs and delivers commercial insights solutions to fuel the advancement of our HQ-based pharmaceutical and healthcare clients on global level.
Role & Responsibilities
- Be an expert in facilitating IQVIA’s real-world patient data to answer commercial business objectives from pharma clients with a focus on HQ and multi country engagements.
- Commercialize and grow the before mentioned IQVIA Real World Patient Insights/ Commercial Analytics offering and support pharma headquarters and the respective commercial functions globally.
- Deliver against an individual sales target.
- Build close client relationships from operational to senior management level at dedicated HQ accounts.
- Develop and deliver insightful, value-added strategies that address complex client issues.
- Create and elevate new business opportunities through the identification of value-added follow-on work and identify new revenue opportunities with existing and new client organizations.
- Manage multiple consulting projects of varying complexity, ensure on-time and on-budget delivery for clients in the pharmaceutical or related industries.
- Act as principal owner of client engagements and ongoing relationships; ultimate responsibility for client satisfaction and delivering high levels of quality/added value through all steps of an engagement.
- Be a senior advisor and allocate direction, advice, and intellectual leadership to clients and delivery teams.
- Lead thought leadership and be a spokesman for the beforementioned area; internal and through speaking engagements, client meetings, and publications.
- Remain current on industry, clients, and competitive trends and directions in order to anticipate and identify new business challenges and issues with assigned clients.
- Participate in annual performance review team processes and take ownership within IQVIA.
- Mentor, coach, and share subject matter expertise with others to help develop individuals and capabilities delivering world-class solutions for clients.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree with 10-12 years of relevant experience including consulting and/or pharmaceutical industry (preferably Sales/Marketing/Business Insights & Commercial Excellence).
- Experience and worked on consulting roles (pharma industry or vendor/ consulting), business insights, market/marketing research or similar.
- Worked with or sold different methodologies to generate commercial insights including secondary data.
- Established connection to HQ pharma clients preferred. Sound knowledge of pharma industry and its core processes is a requirement.
- Worked with a variety of functions within pharma; early stage assessments up to mature products preferred.
- Business Development skills and sales experience; superb and confident external communicator.
- Good communication and networking skills as well as outstanding internal collaboration across countries is required; sensitive to “internal sales” requirements and leading cross-functional teams.
- Sound expertise in client delivery, project management and leadership. Several years of project experience with pharma and other healthcare industries.
- Entrepreneurial attitude, driver, willingness to take risks, but also long-term strategic thinking regarding development of an account.
- Hands-on, with strong issue-based consulting and conceptual skills and an ambition for innovation.
- Beside operational engagement management, you need to have a deep understanding of pharma as an industry, industry trends & challenges, big therapeutic areas, analytical thinking, etc..
- Excellent listening & communication skills; possesses exemplary business development skills.
- Optional: Experiencing in managing sales focused or business development teams

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $130,200.00 - $361,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
