Financial Analyst

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Financial Analyst to join our Services Delivery team. This role is central to our strategic financial planning and performance management within our managed services business. You will play a critical part in developing financial models, supporting budgeting, and driving cost reduction and revenue growth initiatives. As a cross-functional contributor, you will work closely with regional managed services teams, operations, and product teams to provide actionable financial insights, optimize pricing strategies, and improve business processes. This role is ideal for someone with a strong financial background, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and an ability to bridge financial analysis with operational and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis
- Developing financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting efforts of the managed services business.
- Aiding in the budgeting process and recommending improvements to reduce costs and enhance returns.
- Devising strategies for cost reduction and revenue growth, monitoring monthly spend, and measuring financial performance against financial operating plans and targets.
- Analyzing financial data and providing forecasting support; monitoring actual results of financial data against plans, forecasts, and budgets.
- Improving financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to management.
- Preparing detailed reports that highlight the managed services business financial status and opportunities.
- Working with multiple regional managed services teams to understand financial needs and assist in budget preparation and management.
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to provide actionable insights.
Business Analysis
- Staying informed on services delivery market trends and industry conditions to forecast impacts on the business.
- Collaborating with operations and product teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) for services delivery and measure their financial impact.
- Identifying and analyzing business processes to pinpoint areas for efficiency improvements and cost savings within services delivery.
- Conducting profitability analysis for various service offerings and customer segments.
- Supporting the development and implementation of new financial systems or modules relevant to services delivery.
- Performing ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and decision-making within the services delivery organization.
Pricing Analysis
- Developing and maintaining pricing models for various services delivery offerings.
- Conducting market research and competitive analysis to inform pricing strategies.
- Analyzing the financial impact of proposed pricing changes and recommending optimal pricing structures.
- Collaborating with sales and product teams to ensure pricing aligns with market conditions and business objectives.
- Monitoring pricing performance and making recommendations for adjustments to maximize revenue and profitability.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Advanced degrees, MBA or related degree is highly valued
- Strong proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills
- Prior experience in financial forecasting, analysis, and financial report writing is required
