Work as a Quality Development Engineer in a cross-functional agile development team with specific focus on InterSystems Patient Engagement Solution, Personal Community. Agile teams consist of developers, product and quality development engineers collectively responsible for all stages of product development from design to validation.

Clinicians and administrators use TrakCare to improve safety and outcomes, control costs by eliminating duplicate tests, reduce medication errors, expedite billing, maximize resource utilization, and achieve other strategic initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The duties initially assigned include, but are not limited to:

  • Contribute as a Quality Development Engineer on a dedicated Agile team.
  • Design and maintain selenium test automation scenarios using a variety of tools including but not limited to: Selenium, WebDriverIO, Jenkins, and Zephyr.
  • Programming languages used include JavaScript, TypeScript, Cache ObjectScript and shell scripting.
  • Infrastructure management of remote and locally hosted resources. Including creation and maintenance of automated build and test environments.
  • Identify functional and non-functional issues in application from design through to validation. This includes producing a test plan, test cycle and test cases to be executed during manual and automated testing.
  • Develop non-functional and structural testing strategies to validate application performance, security, and interoperability.
  • Other duties may be directed by the company from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Relevant work experience in development and/or test automation or DevOps.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, Selenium, or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing principles.
  • Understanding of web development technologies.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to learning new methodology, technologies and software Products.
