We are looking for a Business Development Representative who is highly motivated to begin an ambitious career path into enterprise healthcare technology sales. As a Business Development Reprepresentative (BDR) InterSystems will teach you about how our technology can solve some of the most critical data problems in healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing. Our BDR will complete 100+ outbound activities daily that will require an individual who can handle rejection by identifying creative tactics to overcome these objections. Throughout your time as a BDR you will generate sales demand and pipeline revenue through an aggressive nurturing process. These behaviors and skillsets will be the foundational skills that will lead you to a successful career into Sales within InterSystems.

Responsibilities:

  • Hit outbound activity metrics using different channels of communication such as phone calls, email, social selling, direct mail, etc.
  • Qualify marketing leads in a fast yet efficient manner through multiple channels while maintaining positive brand recognition (inbounding)
  • Conduct high-level conversations with potential customers, tracking all activity in the CRM
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and qualification targets
  • Stay current on industry trends and market developments for your assigned industry
  • Collaborate across sales and marketing teams effectively.
  • Goal oriented and self-motivated; approaches work with a passion and enthusiasm
  • Proven ability to collaborate with field sales representatives to plan and achieve goals
  • Experience using sales acceleration tools including ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Has demonstrated strong customer relations skills
  • Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of standard computer application skills, such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
  • 1-2 years of demonstrated experience qualifying, prospecting, or selling SaaS or software solutions

Education & Training:

  • One to two years of Business Development or Inside Sales experience
  • Sales training certificate is a plus
