The Role: What are the Performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
In the first 30 days you will:
· Join a pod and immerse yourself within the Software Engineering team and attend a variety of meetings to understand the tech stack and development tools
· Learn IntelyCare software practices, cadence, and ceremonies
· Actively work on development projects that help bring in revenue and grow the business
In the first 12 months you will:
· Build microservices and collaborate with Architecture, Automation and DevOps teams on the design, infrastructure and deployment to production
The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing regularly?
o Delivering mission critical applications and services in a containerized environment, as part of an agile team; function as a technical leader within the team
o Engage in cross-functional collaboration with data scientists, business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve working solutions.
o Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
o Solve a wide range of technical problems, from architecting new systems to finding and addressing issues in production.
o Professional experience with Java
o Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
o Familiar with AWS environments
o High emphasis on testing is a plus
o Experience with building REST APIs
o Working knowledge of object-oriented programming, system design, data structures, and algorithms
What is the leadership structure within the team?
You will be joining our Marketplace engineering team and report to a Manager, Software Engineering.
Where is the role located?
This is a hybrid role at our corporate office in Quincy, MA.
