We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Waltham, MA office.

Job Summary

The Senior Product Manager, on our Patient Access team is a unique opportunity to help grow and iterate Imprivata’s new face recognition solution, driving secure and seamless access to care. This is a hands-on role for an experienced product professional with a strong background in healthcare technology who thrives at the intersection of biometrics, AI, healthcare workflows and data privacy. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, compliance, and business teams to deliver innovative, privacy-focused products that enhance patient safety and operational efficiency. The Senior Product Manager will assist in defining product direction, guiding execution from concept to launch, and ensuring alignment with regulatory, technical, and market needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the product vision for Patient Access solutions, ensuring alignment with company strategy, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners (including hospitals, EHR vendors, and healthcare networks) to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Lead discovery and user research efforts, synthesizing insights into actionable requirements and guiding design toward impactful, user-centered solutions.
  • Define success metrics and KPIs for adoption, accuracy, and performance (e.g., false match rate, workflow efficiency, patient satisfaction).
  • Drive product execution through close collaboration with engineering teams, ensuring high-quality delivery in agile environments.
  • Champion privacy and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, biometric data standards, etc.) in every stage of product development and lifecycle management.
  • Oversee clinical pilots and large-scale deployments, ensuring operational readiness and strong outcomes in real-world healthcare environments.
  • Partner with go-to-market teams to ensure successful launches, positioning, and messaging for product releases.
  • Mentor junior product managers and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Stay ahead of industry developments in biometrics, AI, patient identification, and interoperability standards.
  • Other duties as assigned and required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in healthcare, biometrics, AI/ML, or enterprise SaaS/cloud solutions.
  • Solid knowledge of integrations with major EHR systems
  • Sound understanding of compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, biometric data regulations, consent), and healthcare workflows
  • Proven track record of launching complex products from concept to deployment.
  • Experience working in agile teams with engineers, designers, and data scientists
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of taking ownership and driving results on technical projects.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working within regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services.
  • Familiarity with SAML and/or OIDC-based authentication, identity verification, and identity stores.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and API design.

This position offers a total compensation range of $165,000.00 to $175,000.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata’s benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata’s compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
