Job Summary
The Salesforce CPQ Administrator is responsible for managing and optimizing Imprivata’s Salesforce CPQ environment. This role will ensure efficient quoting, approvals, and billing workflows. This role involves configuring CPQ settings, maintaining product catalogs, troubleshooting issues, and helping cross-functional teams to enhance system performance. The CPQ Administrator will work closely with Sales, Finance, Renewals and Business Systems teams to ensure smooth system functionality, improve automation, and align CPQ processes with business needs. This position requires exceptional technical expertise in Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick) administration. A deep knowledge of quote-to-cash workflows, and the ability to drive system enhancements is necessary for success in this role.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Salesforce CPQ, including product catalog, pricing rules, approval processes, and contract templates.
- Configure CPQ settings, including discounting, bundling, and approval workflows.
- Ensure data integrity and troubleshoot CPQ-related issues, partnering with IT and business teams.
- Work with Sales, Renewals and Finance teams to streamline quoting, ordering, and billing processes.
- Implement system improvements, automation, and enhancements to increase efficiency.
- Provide end-user assistance and training for CPQ functionality and best practices.
- Partner with development teams to assist CPQ integrations with ERP and other business systems.
- Monitor system performance, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist in testing and deploying CPQ system updates and new features.
- Other duties as assigned and required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience administering Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick).
- Salesforce Administrator and CPQ Specialist Certifications preferred.
- Proven knowledge of CPQ workflows, pricing models, approvals, and contract management.
- Experience with Salesforce configuration, including objects, workflows, and validation rules.
- Familiarity with integrations between CPQ and ERP/billing systems; CPQ Billing experience is a major plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to partner with cross-functional teams.
- Proven communication and documentation skills.
