Position Overview:
We are seeking an Information Technology Project Manager to join Healthedge Corporate IT team as part of our Shared Services Organization. The IT Project Manager supports and guides the projects for the internal technology services.
The IT Project Manager is a representative of the business functions of IT and aids in implementing new technologies, processes, and standards to attain operational efficiencies and growth opportunities. They will work to in alignment with the business strategy. They will serve as liaison for the Corporate IT department and all other departments; develop and maintain relationships with IT, business units, and vendors in projects and programs to improve business operations and deliver outcomes that provide measurable business value.
As the IT Project Manager, you will partner cross-functionally to develop initiatives through full project life cycle, including but not limited to supporting business case creation, performing acceptance testing and end-user training, and launching the solution. Establish and maintain business process documentation, compliance and security requirements, and regulatory goals on an ongoing basis and across all programs and projects.
You will coordinate the delivery of IT solutions using established project management methodologies while providing research and direction in new or varied methods. You will provide ideas to resolve risks and issues to project team. You will develop and maintain continuous improvement techniques to improve the people, processes, and tools.

About Center of Excellence:
Centers of Excellence (COE) are teams whose primary goal is to provide expertise in a specific field. COEs will usually provide support through training, research, and skilled leaders. In the case of HealthEdge, our Centers of Excellence incorporate the Human Resources, IT, Legal and Financial fields, all of which provide support to our Product divisions and allows the enterprise to move forward and achieve its goals.
Your impact:
- Manage the day-to-day and program activities of one or multiple complex business-sponsored IT projects to deliver tasks on time, within budget, and within scope.
- The IT Project Manager has the ability to work independently, with a focus on detailed documentation and reporting.
- Consistently responsible for managing, directing, and planning complex projects consisting of one or more project teams.
- Ability to communicate and effectively negotiate with business, senior management, peers with a high level of confidence and composure.
- Manage the project timelines, follow up on key action items, manage the velocity, health and identifies dependencies between teams helping to communicate and resolve those dependencies.
- Acts as a member of the Program Management Office to execute on plan and report progress/risks and health of projects clearly.
What you bring:
- 3+ years Lean Agile frameworks, Scaled Agile Framework
- 4+ years IT Project Management Experience (SAFe™), and Agile metrics.
- Demonstrated history of practical experience in medium to large scale program management with the application of Lean-Agile practices, mindsets and have a willingness to coach other team members to adapt and learn.
- Experience with remote Planning sessions leveraging collaborative tools such as WebEx, Miro, MS Teams, Zoom, Slack
- Possess a strong technical background in information technology management with detailed knowledge of hardware and software. This should include organizing, directing, and managing activities related to building and maintaining IT technology
Bonus Points:
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certification.
- +5 years’ experience in project management
- Working knowledge of software such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet and MS Office Tools.
- Be flexible and possess the ability to see alternative methods and approaches.
- Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledgable file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.
- Understanding of Project Management standards
- Experience with remote Planning sessions leveraging collaborative tools
- Have successful background working with system change associated to Healthcare Provider/Networks or at minimum have a background with experience in Healthcare IT

Geographic Responsibility: Ideally looking for someone located in Boston, MA area for the option of occasional in office dates. Otherwise the role is predominantly remote.
