Job Description Summary
This role is part of the RT software solutions leadership and will be pivotal in developing and deploying world-class service strategy for Radiation Therapy software solutions. The LSI will provide leadership to the cross-functional teams to ensure the relevant service offerings are developed for customer acquisition, retention, and growth.Job Description
Service design & strategy
- Define a comprehensive service strategy covering multiple offerings (free and paid): Pre-installation, installation and configuration support, warranty, on-demand clinical training, purchased services - Software upgrades, premium technical support etc.,
- Own the complete life-cycle management from start to finish including development and iteration of business case and value propositions.
- Ensure that the service offerings are differentiated and are easy for customers to comprehend, purchase and use.
- Ensure that the service offerings are easy for field service team to commission & handover to the customer.
Service execution
- Lead the PRD process to ensure timely execution of the upstream and downstream activities. Upstream activities include: strategy definition, requirements gathering & reviewing etc., Downstream activities include: creation of offering and part numbers, documentation for field service and e-learning training, design transfer to field service teams etc.,
- Ensure that the solutions are scalable, sustainable, fault tolerant, and within operational cost budgets
- Track service program outcomes through established metrics
- Work closely with Program Manager, Product Manager, Marketing manager, LSD, Lead Implementation Engineer and regional teams to define strategy, track progress, manage risks and assess trade-offs with a phased delivery approach.
- Act as L4 engineer as needed for customer success activities.
Qualifications:
· Experienced Service Design Leader (5+ yrs) with Bachelor’s degree in STEM Majors.
· Deep technical understanding of software service offerings and life cycle management.
· Proven software service development experience. Experience with defining requirements, flow-down, verification & validation, and traceability
· Awareness on complex medical software deployments such as EMR or PACS.
· Understands Medical Device Software Design Principals, requirements for meeting various country regulatory clearances, and demonstrates awareness of industry dynamics
Desired Characteristics
- Master’s degree in STEM Majors preferred.
- Previous experience in Radiation Oncology is a plus.
- Awareness with medical device edge computing and interconnectivity technologies including application layer protocols such as DICOM/DICOM-RT, IHE-RO, HL7 etc.,
- Ability to work in a highly independent manner as well as in team, able to contribute collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
- Cultivate a constructive conflict environment and understand the permanent need of change with the market dynamics
- Self-motivated with a willingness to take the initiative to identify opportunities and take actions to develop solutions
